Santa Barbara Guitar Lessons

The modern classical guitar traces its origins to 19th-century Spain, in particular the instrument as designed by Antonio de Torres. The strings are plucked with the right hand, and sometimes strummed. Maestro Andrés Segovia propelled the Spanish guitar to worldwide acclaim, and trained the next generation of classical guitarists.

For the young guitarist aspiring to play in the Spanish-classical tradition, the Suzuki guitar method serves as a great technical foundation for achieving this aim.
